The University of Oxford is a collegiate university comprising 38 colleges and six Permanent Private Halls (PPHs) of religious foundation.
The undergraduates' admissions process is stringent and intensely competitive, although there is no upper or lower age limit. The Oxford Opportunity Bursaries is the most generous bursary scheme offered by any British university.
