A review of La Croissanterie Patisserie Cafe by Ann written on Thursday 26th of July 2012
The customer service ensured that, sadly, I will not return, though I work in the area. I asked for a heated Brie and avocado baguette and suggested the salad and avocado be placed in it after it had been heated up. I was told it wasn't possible due to health and safety ( I later found out this was incorrect) and it being too much hard work... I reasoned with the server, saying that the cafe I usually went to never found this an issue (it was also one pound cheaper...) I was told they didn't usually heat sandwiches and, although not advertised, it was an extra 30p since they had popped it in the microwave. This made the sandwich £3.80. I felt rudely treated
and they should not charge an extra 30p for the microwave heating if not advertised..
